Ok..so here's my deal..I am on a family plan with my mother and son on Alltel. I bought an LG Tritan to replace my old Samsung Hue II. I had to get the data plan because of the Tritan..apperently it's supposed to be a "smart" phone<---sarcasim. This phone is completely worthless...u can't look at pics online..set music ringtones and just plain sucks...I want need to find out if I go and buy a Droid from walmart or somewhere else besides a cellular dealer...if I can just take it into my alltel store and transfer my number to the droid like they did with my tritan....So basically...if I buy a droid will it work on the alltel network??
