you cant have both at the same time, unistall the cab and disable the tweak in hdtweaks and than reset the device..... now just go to hd tweaks and change and you should be good to go... if it isnt you can always hard reset or navigate through the registry and change it manually that way.

Not my first rodeo
I have done all of that (yes with soft resets), it is driving me crazy, I have installed more than 25 different ROM's and never had this issue....crazy! I also did a hard reset and the flash dance up to this rom.
