That. It polls the phone position a lot. Changing that stops the polling. Now if I have nothing but the phone on in the coms manager, I can walk away from the phone for a long time, come back, fire it up, no charge change in the battery.
Still, once you start doing stuff it makes a giant sucking sound like the Detroit Lions. I tested Sprint Nav to get home yesterday, a 4 mile commute. Drained 15% of the battery. That's prolly what happened to Star Trek Voyager, they were using a TP2 as a nav system and it just drained out
