MS has an update for MS Reader that fixed the activation problem for WM 6/6.1 (Don't know if it workd for WM 6.5 as I am on the stock Sprint ROM). Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/reader/downloads/ppc.aspx to download it. Then use a Window's Live profile to activate it. You have to use ActiveSync to do the activation.
