Arkswitch:
Lots of comments & many complaints, did a search here, 3 pages, lots of grips, lockups, etc..

Here's my 2 cents...
Any taskmanager should NOT be used to close tasks.. IMHO
Use it to see whats running & to switch to open tasks. Always use the "close" or "exit" inside the running program itself. Any/every taskmanager I've used either doesn't actually close many apps OR it has 2 options: "Close" & "Terminate". Terminate usually does the trick on all of them.

However, those apps are usually the ones that cause the problems. All kinds of probs, from hangs, erratic, lockups, etc.. You leave lots of stuff hanging when terminating (abrev'd to shorten this post).

MS apps are a tad different & rarely have a close or exit in them. My experience is that it's safe to terminate those (active sync). Google ppcgeeks for more info about MS thinking they don't need to close them due to great memory management... lol... yea, we've all seen that.

Moral: Especially don't use the "Close all" button.

Many of you will say this is BS, never had problems, etc.. fine. We'll just have to agree to strongly disagree... This wasn't written for you... it's for the ones having all the issues.
