Yes, the EV data icon is still the same... I can't find a fix for this
it seems every time I change the Icon I keep getting the device to reset about 30 seconds into the third call.
No the camera key will not work... Still looking into this issue!

The pictures are saved to storage card/My Documents/My Pictures...
Not sure what you mean by Teir Auto installer... You will have to run it on first boot.
