I totally know what/how you feel, but I've been running Mal's Titanium ROM since his Jan 14 release and haven't really encountered any issues (small display glitch with the game "Flight Commander" makes it almost impossible to play, but nothing I can't live without). Smooth, fluid, and plenty of memory to throw whatever you want at it.
The damn things just works!
