u should be checking ur phones for updates on the regular anyway. in some cases the rep doest update these for u before u leave the store...some ppls phones have NEVER been updated whether they have had them for years or just bought them. sometimes the phone u get mite b first generation of that model and mite not already hav the same updates installed. as seen with the samsung moment CL14 update, some already had it and some had to install it. FIFO (first in first out) has been enstated to prevent this from happening. stores really need to make sure people kno how to check for updates...prl, data profile, firmware or otherwise. if ur phone starts actn crazy or laggy probably a good time to check to see if an update is available.
