MichyPrima from XDA put together a cab for the new htc hd mini lockscreen... so all credit to him. You just slide the bar down to unlock. When you have one notification, itll show who it's from and the subject. anymore than that and it gives you the count of each notification category.
If you use pin code entry, then don't use it... i think it disables it and locks you out. For all others, it seems to work.
