Update: To anyone who wants the "Mark All As Read" to be at the bottom of the menu (so you don't have to scroll), here's how I fixed it:

1. Install HTCMenus1.1.Updated_ExtraSmall.cab (see previous post for link)
2. Go into registry HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCmenus and change PortraitMaxItemCount from 13 to 15.
3. Soft Reset.

Now, even though it's a blimpy menu and not the nice, squared off, single spaced, compact menu I wanted, at least the "Mark all as read" is now at the bottom of the menu so I don't have to scroll to find it.

Took all day, but it's a fix I can live with.
