A few newbie ?s

My Sprint TP2 is a critical business device for me and stability is extremely important to me. I've only used MightMike's ROM thus far and have been please but have experienced some issues lately that has me looking to switch. Lag is a problem for me. It just takes to long for my finger presses to be registered on the phone. Selecting tabs, dialing numbers is always a pain. Therefore, if I want something super stable AND responsive which versions should I opt for?

Another problem with MM's is I lost many of the Sprint Apps (TV/NFL/NASCAR). It wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't bother me. However, the other day I was stuck a wedding during the Daytona 500 and a few of us quietly wanted to know what was going on. Yep, its the only race of the year I actually care to watch and I had to go to a wedding. Also, I was recently enduring a long wait at the ER with the TV was stuck on CNN. I would have been nice to have the Disney Channel on Sprint TV. Am I right, that these apps are all included and working on all the Neo versions?

Lastly, it seems the flash process is completely different with this ROM. MM's is super easy. Plug phone into USB, run EXE file and your done. With Neo I have a RAR file that my computer does not recognize and I don't know what to do with. For me, the instructions are not complete enough because I don't understand how my phone ever sees the RAR file on my computer when I turn off the USB connection in WMDC. I'm sure it something simple that I now look like a complete idiot for asking, but if there are other MM users out there looking to switch they'll be wondering the same thing. It would be a great help if there instructions were expanded a bit more, especially in light of those of us coming from a EXE flashing process.
