Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

Man, this thread blew up overnight. I'm jealous of all the activity. A few random notes:

those are from the File System ChecK (DOSFSCK, specifically) that is run on the sd card before the rootfs is loaded. Every time it runs, it creates a record of it. You can delete these (or make a script to delete them) without harm.

I'm heading to bed will be back on sometime tomorrow late afternoon. I've added market enabler to the apps hoping to trick the market place, but no luck so far.
The market issue is something to do with the 2010-02-27 xdandroid package. It's across all devices, and will persist until a fix comes down from babijoee -- hopefully such a fix will come along today or tomorrow. (And hopefully it's a simple thing, for his sake. )

When it does, you should be able to just grab the updated xdandroid package and drop in a new system.sqsh.

That's the Android system crashing. It happens occasionally. Sometimes it'll boot back to the lock screen without complaint, and you can go on your merry way. Sometimes it'll just keep reloading that shimmery X forever, until you reboot.

(Sometimes, even after a reboot, it'll just keep loading the X, and you'll need to trash your data.img and start fresh. But that's rare.)
This post has been thanked 2 times.
