But, if it was taken from say an HTC HD I would?
I have a Sprint SIM card. Does the SIM card affect my data connection?
I can make calls but they drop immediately.
I am sending and receiving texts fine.
I am not getting exchange emails, but I am getting hotmail.
I am not getting a data connection.
I have no bars.

all the radios in the first post came from the cdma tp2, so you can flash them to your phone, except for the 1.40 came from a test rom, so if you wanted to flash that one, you would have to be security unlocked.
the sprint sim card is not doing anything, unless you go to a different country and activate international service on your account. then the sprint sim card will allow you to use gsm service (if available) in whatever non-US country you're in.
