Actually it was just a misunderstanding of what the author said. What he said and what he meant were 2 different things. He said... "The release of Google Maps today could help android tomorrow." What he meant was... "It would be good for Google to release navigation for Windows mobile sometime soon because it could actually help them against Windows mobile." Unfortunately I can see how the author could clearly be misunderstood and he should have made some clarifications.
