While spares aren't that big a deal, I certainly prefer to make it through the day on a single battery. I've only had the registry edits done for a day, but it seemed to help somewhat today. Of course, it's really hard to know for sure if I used the device in the same way from one day to the next. But it certainly didn't make anything worse, and I think it made things better.
