I'm new to the flashing scene, a few weeks in, so i'm still learning... however at a very rapid pace.

As far as roms go, I was very discouraged by alot of the Manila 2.5's I was flashing... I had alot of speed issues.

Come to realize, I was flash dancing wrong. (No hard resets after flashing, flashing straight to another custom rom instead of back to stock first, etc etc). Now, I love it. As far as stability goes.... Mr.X and MightyRom are hands down the best. As far as battery, I could care less, seeing as i'm home / in the car enough to have a charger available to me.

Last night was a big night for me though. I was very happy to get my hands on an updated War, and thus far it's proved to be very sexy, smooth, and reliable in all terms of my daily usage.

Either way, i'm having a blast and learning a lot. Kind of sad to know I came in at the end of Windows Mobile as we know it. My only other WM device I've ever used before the Tp2 was a Pantech Duo from ATT... which was hands down the worst application of an OS to a Mobile Phone i've ever used.

On the flip side, WM6.1 and beyond is making me very happy i'm back into the smart phone junkie scene. It's kinda like a kit hobby to me.... and I just hope that with WP7, it can stay alive. I would hate to have to fall out of the scene when I just got into it.

Anywho, aloha bruddah (bit of a shameless use of terms from a mainlander). I used to live on Maui, back in '05 till '07. Can't wait to move back.
