Hey there i have been looking into the apache for a good 2 months now due to the fact that i am a college kid and with no money i needed a phone without a data plan that still would be cool so i bought a apache on ebay for 21 dollars (with nothing wrong with it =O).

Well i knew at the time that the person that was selling it had already put a version of 6.5 on the phone and thats all good.... but now that i see that it needs to be reset every 30 min and it takes 5 min to boot up it isnt the right OS for me so i need to change to 6.1 for a smother ride..

TO MY QUESTION!!!!!

I am new to changing my OS on the apache and with one that already has one with 6.5 idk how to down grade it and i dont want to try without know anything about it soo someone plz help me try and figure this out.

My goal is the change over to 6.1 and it not take 3 months to fix it if i mess it up ... OH AND i'm running windows 7 sooo idk if PPCk will work on W7 anyone know about that??
