Yeah the OpenDNS definetely gives a nice little boost in page loading....

Here's a little simplified explaination of why it does what it does in case anyone doesn't know.....

A Domain Name System (DNS) server is a server that constantly maintains and accumulates a list of valid domain names from the internet and the actual I.P. addresses (204.67.176.408 ) that correspond to them, which is what we really need to go to a website.

Now when you type in "ppcgeeks.com" the request gets routed to the Sprint DNS servers, as each ISP use certain DNS servers, well by changing the settings we are routing our request to the OpenDNS servers.
The OpenDNS servers are a little faster than the ISP servers, so we get to the website a little faster. That's basically what's going on.
