It is a nice rom. I did notice one thing though. You mention the 3G icon doesn't show up. I took a look and it doesn't appear to work at all.
EDIT: It might be worth your while to also post this over on the xda developers forum for the HTC Touch Pro 2. I had to hunt for yours and it has loads of promise. I'll be using a different one in the meantime but I look forward to what you end up doing with yours.
