Well if you are interested, DMUpdater is available now from
http://www.DroidMod.org and you can get DM 1.0.0 from it (which I think is essentially SM 2.0.7). Sounds interesting. Includes live wallpapers but loses the theme. Also lets you wipe data and keep your apps.
