unless you are clueless when it comes to taking stuff apart and putting it back together it shouldn't be much trouble. i have taken apart many cell phones it's easy just take your time and pay attention to what order you are doing things so you can reverse it putting everything back together

j/k bro, I couldn't agree more. Obviously if you're looking to use their services, you wouldn't have a clue as to what you're doing, so they can tell you anything...
To the OP, maybe see if you can pick up a cheap phone like a trac phone temporarily and look at the kits Nasa posted (hell, with a screen name like that, maybe he can fix it for you!!!
). But either way, you've gotta get it fixed, and if you can live without it for a few days, maybe get the kits, try it yourself, it would be worth it if it works. And if it doesn't work, E-bay or craigs list may be the way to go. No matter what it sucks.
Edit: Nasa, are those guitar picks they include in the separator package???
