correct, but my confusion comes in where it used to say 3G with the stock verizon rom, and now it says EV. i was just trying to figure out if this was just an icon that was missing or "misdirected", or if my phone needs to be reprogramed or something. |
Uh...what don't you understand? 3G is EV is 3G is EV is 3G...
It's just a different icon, there's no difference in connection. Nothing is missing or misdirected, and you don't need to do anything. "EV" is more specific than it saying "3G" anyway, 3G is a blanket term for "high speed" data over cellular networks.  |
