I follow the instructions in this post (
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=57848) to get MMS working on every ROM I use, including NFS1.04. I know there are newer versions of Arcsoft out now but this one seems to be universally flawless... enjoy!
Edit: my bad, I just noticed you're on Alltel... I believe the above will only work on Sprint, sorry.
