The feel of both of them is great, its the untimely drop when the perfect case matters. The gel on the other hand is just that: ALL GEL!! there are no plastic tabs to grab onto the phone, only flaps that go over the phone that stay in place. And if you flash as much as I do and know that during some point in time you may want to reset it, go with the gel. repeated removal of the rubberized case's back cover may make the tabs weak and they will be prone to breaking. Accidents will happen, I just didn't want to buy another case if, and when, it did. I will most likely replace the phone before the case 'breaks'!

What about the detachable swivel belt clip for the rubber case? Is that a factor I should consider in my choice?
