Quick question. So the sms dark skin only works in windows messaging and not htc? Just checking I couldve already broke something... Either way it awesome and love the work done to this ROM. Thanks everyone.
You are correct...this only works with the Windows Messaging client and not the HTC one.

Goto SMS Tab
Click All Messages
Click Desired SMS Thread

For some reason I thought the HTC messaging was totally removed...I'll consult with X on this.
