i was told over the phone the same thing and was directed to a actual repair center. he made me an e-ticket for the repair center. i couldn't bear spending hours in a store either. I was lucky enough to find a corporate store that has no problems ordering replacements and i was in and out in 5 minutes, no exaggerating. no more than 5 minutes. the first corporate store i went into the douchebag told me that there was no way around getting it looked at in a repair center. It was so "they are not replacing perfectly good phones". i went to the corporate store that upgraded me last year from my mogul to my touch pro and had no problems getting the touch pro 2 upgrade once he found out i had three refurbs in a few weeks period. i got it today and i am in heaven. the screen size is almost enough to give you a hard on after using the small touch pro screen for a year.
