Now for some reason it will always crash on start up, but it still works. So what you'll want to do is just disable error reporting so that the crash screen doesn't come up. It's not perfect but it does exactly what it needs to do. Enjoy.

This does set it as default, except if HTC messaging is disable. At least that's been my experience. Regardless I will load the new cab once it is ready and try it anyway.
