the same shit happened to me when i had my a900... lost it for a week activated another old phone i had laying around while i looked for it... ended up finding it b4 the assholes at the insurance dept sent it....
so i called sprint explained to them what happened they told me to send the new one back and that they would deal with the insurance people..
i sent the new one back i guess they called sprint bc i never got charged the 50bux... so i was happy
