IMO, 2.5 makes the phone faster. It seems to me that most of the DL "Errors" people are seeing are due to misunderstanding what to do with the NBH file that they find when they extract it. There are some minor issues but there are workarounds for them (Sprint MMS, etc). Try the rom for yourself cuz what you might like someone else might see as a problem.
