Lets reverse the thing, WP 7 will require high end hardware with a none pocketpc OS...would you dish out 350$ for something you can get on a free-$100 phone?
Great point- I can accomplish everything they talked about in the teaser video with my ghetto LG lotus that I got for FREE as an upgrade. I'm not gonna buy a high-end phone with a 1ghz processor just to run a proprietary OS whose main features are real-time Facebook updates & cloud storage. Its a huge step back in mobile computing, honestly.

Were you a happy child. How many schools did you attend? Military brat? LOL.
I know what you mean. I resist change too but I figure if this is where things are headed... So am I... I even signed up and got a facebook account and guess what? I found my long lost sister. I haven't seen her in about 20 years. Sometimes change is good. I'm looking forward to the second and third release already. lol

Oh my childhood, where do I begin! Lol... I was pretty happy but we did move around a lot. My family was a bunch of poor immigrants struggling to survive month to month. We never had nice things, and we had to make everything last as long as possible. Maybe that's why I hang on to stuff so tightly now. Its not so much that I resist change, I just figure if I find something I'm happy with- WHY change? That's why it gets my hackles up so bad when stuff gets 'made over' like this. There's just no need.

I understand the money invested in apps part.
Honestly? Not really. I don't need things to be 'simple'. For me, simple = boring. If something is too simple I get tired of it. I like hacking & tweaking & finding every possible way to do something, I hate only having simple options. That's what attracted me to WinMo in the first place- it's versatility. There's a way to do everything & anything on WM, it never says 'no'. Lol, that was cheesy.
