UPDATE: I went ahead and installed the zenyee disable HTC messaging app and holy crap, now tapping the MMS from manilla goes to HTC messaging and hitting the all messages softkey goes to Messaging. This is exactly how i wanted it. Awesome. Oh, and MMS works now.
