Yes, consider a different phone.
The TP2 is phone is a highly capable device that can be modified to suit the users needs, if all you do is text and call, there are plenty of phones out there that have full keyboards and / or touch screens.
As much as people like to help, nobody wants to help someone that doesn't search or bother to learn the most basic of things about their phone or doesn't have enough technical knowledge to understand how to use it properly.
You need a phone that is "dummy proof", TP2 is not a dummy proof phone.
It's like owning a performance car, you need to at least know how to use it on an advanced level. As compared to owning a ford escort, you just put gas in it and it goes.
If you REALLY want to keep your phone, then I suggest that you do what we all did and do some reading and some searching. If you don't understand how computer works in general, then it's going to be a steep learning curve.
Or I suggest you find someone to come and physically set it up in person.
