Smile Your browser is being identified as a mobile version

On the Goole Mobile Webpage portal there is an option at the bottom to view as "classic". select that and see if it works. Cookies must be enabled in the browser to make this happen. As for Yahoo, check to see if a non-mobile link is on the bottom of that page. There are registry settings to make Pocket IE appear to be IE6 or another desktop broswer. Those changes could also help fix the problem. Or use a program like Tweaks2k2 to make the changes more easily.

Here are the reg settings...

Change Internet Explorer to Appear as a Different Version (Pocket PC)

These settings allows you to change the way Pocket Internet Explorer appears to remote web sites. As some web site base the availability of SSL and other display parameters on this version information.

Open your registry and find the key below.

To make your browser appear to be Internet Explorer 6.0, running on Windows 2000 change the following values.

Change the value of (Default) to equal "Mozilla/4.0", change the value of Version to equal "MSIE 6.0" and the value of Platform to equal "Windows NT 5.0".

Registry Settings
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\
Internet Settings\User Agent]
Value Name: (Default), Version, Platform
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value)
