I agree even if you have had the phone for more than 30 days, Sprint can send you another one for free its a matter of talking to the right department. When you call Sprint get the retention department, they seem to get things done verses going through customer service. Convince them how annoyed you are at the fact that this is a new phone and the battery has went out already that you would expect for the price you paid for the phone that a battery would last more than 30 days. Something along these lines should work. I ran into the same problem with my first PDA I didn't know about insurance and nobody had ever offered it or mentioned it to me. So around the 45th day my phone went crazy on its own, no mods or hacks to it either. I called Sprint they told me I didn't have insurance so I explained to them I never knew about it or was offered it to me so the lady put me on hold talked to her Supervisor and boom, got a new phone in the mail and insurance added to my plan.
