Yea, you have to take smaller pics to send from the Hero. This is a carrier limit not a Hero limit. Get Handcent, it will readjust them for you.

Nandroid is a backup program that runs on the recovery image. If you are rooted you have it. Since you are asking, you aren't rooted. If you don't want to root I don't know what to say. Maybe new phone if hard reset doesn't fix.

Haha no, hard reset only puts you back to what your phone looks like after a fresh flash. You won't have programs, but you will be rooted and with whatever rom you have on it. If you do a restore it will take you back to exactly when the backup happened, so if it doesn't fix it you can do that.
