Not nearly as elegant as the iPhone...but you may want to look at SK Today Commander. http://s-k-tools.com/index.html?tc/m_feat.html From what I understand it also removes the previous pages' today plug-ins from memory so you don't end up with a today screen that locks your device up in knots.

You may also want to take a look at Wisbar Advance Desktop. It lets you create multiple virtual pages for your today screen...it's a pretty thorough app -- and combined with Wisbar Advanced 3 you can do some some pretty slick stuff to the ho-hum Windows interface. http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/

(Just a quick note: I think that's the 2nd or 3rd time I've posted lakeridge's website today...I don't want anyone making any assumptions here so I should probably state that I have absolutely no connection with the company other than the fact that I like their products and find them incredibly affordable for what they do!)

EDIT: I just realized you asked about "swiping" to see the other pages. I haven't seen that (killer) capability yet...if someone knows of a product that is supporting an actual swipe to see different pages of a today screen I'm all eyes and ears on that one!
