Some people, such as myself, do not get a data connection with the Android/Internet APN settings. That is why there are still people talking about it. As far as switching to the Nexus 1, if you look at the coverage for pretty much any other carrier in my area, nobody comes close, and mine is terrible with getting new phones. Though they surprised everyone by getting the Touch Pro 2 as fast as they did, and being the first to have 6.5 on it. (They are CDMA)
