Yup I had the same problem awhile back drove me nuts. I copied everything off card, formatted copied back with no luck. Read somewhere music had to be added with WMP to work, thought that's crazy, I never did it that way before and it always worked. Guess what? it worked for some reason in the newer builds the only way I can get the music tab to keep playing music is to add all music via WMP sync.
Give it a try, from what I read this is the only way, something about file structure.
