Yep, to save your PIM information (contacts, call logs, SMS logs, calendar stuff), use activesync to sync with outlook, or get PIMBackup (free) from www.xda-developers.com. You can also use online services like Mail2Web.

If you use PIMBackup, don't forget to save the backup file to SD card or your PC before flashing.
