The MyTouch 3G does not have Sense. It's not very reasonable to think that HTC could have completed Sense for the Hero, updated the already-produced units, and shipped them to retailers in the 8-day time span between the release of 1.6 for the vanilla Android MyTouch 3G and the Sprint Hero with SenseUI launch.

Yeah, and how long was the 1.6 sdk out before that release? long enough to port sense to it, methinks.
