I recently purchased a TP2 and have been trying out various ROMs. I was impressed with the speed and stability of Silence, but have been experiencing problems setting up exchange email. I was referred over here from smartphonejunkie and hoped someone might have an answer.

Basically, I've experienced this specific problem with Silence, Juicy, and Mighty Impact. I'll flash the ROM, do a hard reset, dial *228 to activate, connect to my WiFi, and start setting up the email. I select add new exchange account, type in my email address (blah@blah.com) and password (Blah1234), then hit manual setup and type in my domain (us), and server name (bleh.blah.com). It will then try to sync with the sever, but quickly come back with "please correct your exchange credentials". So I try re-entering the information and the same thing keeps happening. Does anyone have a clue why this might be happening?

I've also experienced a similar problem with SsS, Energy (Leo), and Mighty WAR. Notice these are all 2.5 UI-based ROMs. In these ROMs, when I try to set up my email it won't even let me type in a domain in the first place. The box is just grayed out by default. So that seems to be causing the problem. Is this the case for everyone else? I find it hard to believe that the domain box would just be grayed out from the get-go.

Every other ROM I have tried has worked.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.
