Win Media player is known to eat up RAM and may close other running programs.

Search for a program called cleanRAM 1.9.3 is latest version I think. It may help by freeing up all available ram before you start multitasking.

Nothing too intensive... file explorer and opera mini and task manager maybe... regardless of what I have open, should it be automatically shutting down open apps as new ones are opened? I'm not sure if it's a RAM issue, as my phone is not locking up or even slowing down as new apps are opened. The apps in the background just seem to be shutting down on it's own... Is this normal? I'm not trying to do anything crazy here,...just like to have more than two apps open at a time at times.
