I'm sure if I broke it myself I wouldn't ask for a replacement and play dumb and act like it died on its own. But to each his own I guess. And some people actually don't understand why carriers frown upon hard unlocking and stuff? I am sure it costs the carriers/insurance millions a dollars a year where people mess up their devices doing stuff they shouldn't and they foot the bill to fix.
I don't want to sound to high and mighty. I use custom ROMs and what not. I just wouldn't break my phone myself and expect someone else to fix on their dime. That's all...
