IMEI can be changed on any phone if you put enough time into it.

Once again, A 2008 link which U specifically search to proved a little. They are using the 1st iPhone and the firmware is 1.1.3. We are already in 3.1.2.
Part of the security is updating the OS constantly. A cat and mouse game. WM does not have that kind of security. Do it once, It's forever vulnerable.
