Anyway I, like many others, have had the weather not updating problem. On pretty much every rom, unless you initiated a data connection elsewhere. I believe I found a very simple fix/workaround for this.

Go to the Weather tab. Tap menu. Tap Settings.
There should already be a check mark in the "Download Data Automatically" box.
REMOVE the check!
Then check it again! It will ask you to verify the possible data charges. OK.
I set for every 15 minutes, and then checked the roaming box too. Again, verify the possible roaming data charges.

When I did this, it started a data connection, ON ITS' OWN, and updated in seconds! Will keep an eye on it and see if it keeps it up.

Just a little FYI.

Thanks Root, and SKI too. At least now when I bounce around, it's just between these two.

On the MAX SilverRootCombo 0202 now, with Max enabled, but Pewter not installed.
Oh boy, here we go. Lost sound again today. This time it started with losing the sms notification sound. Missed 3 texts from my girlfriend, and boy she was not happy. Only noticed I missed them when I noticed the lights flashing. Went through every single sound setting I could find, and they were all enabled. Shut them off, turned them back on, nada. No notification sounds worked at all. Soft reset and they came back, and once again, so did that wierd default old school dial up modem ring tone, which is always the first thing I change. So far the ringer itself hasn't died like it did in the last Silver build. I'll leave it on here overnight and see it it goes out again. I hope it doesn't, because I really like this rom.

Btw, weather is still auto updating, and the battery life is excellent!
