I've been running 21885 for quite some time, and recently noticed that the charge light (amber LED) is not on while connected on USB while my laptop is on SLEEP mode. The port is powered, and my wife's Diamond (running other cooked ROM) does charge...
At first I thought my laptop was to blame, but now I'm sure it's the phone. I'm downloading the latest (21889) now in hopes that this will resolve the issue.
The charge light does come on while the PC is in the fully awake state. Oddly enough, while in sleep mode, when I connect the phone, it asks me if I want active sync, disk drive, or modem mode - so I know there is some communication between the PC and phone during sleep mode.
I did a hard reset - and there too the light did not come on while charging in sleep.
When the phone is completely powered off, and I plug it into the PC it DOES charge while the PC is in sleep mode...
I'm stuck.
