Sawlty all I'm saying is I was in your boat and if you buy a nexus you will change your mind as well.
here's the best example for what the majority of the people are doing in this rooom. if we had to go from point a to point b, i jump into my porche cayenne and follow my navigation and ride there comfortably and end up at point b asap. then you winmo users jump into your mazda moreno with no navigation, no leather, no sun roof, and no rims but you still end up at point b a little later because with no navigation you took an extra couple of turns. We both got to our destinations we just didn't take the same route or transportation. Until winmo 7 comes out its that simple.
On a side note dragon, you figured out how to get the update already, right? I couldnt wait and now my nexus one is flawless. here is the way how.

Uh, man you are wrong, lol. My friends are running Android 2.1 on their G1s. Yes, the G1 shipped with the original Andr4oid a couple years ago, but it was updated to 2.1 a while back. I probably played with Android 2.1 before you did if you are only seeing it for the first time on your Nexus One, lol.
And, again, my Touch Pro 2 running Mobile Shell blows their G1's out of the water. I can promise you either one of them would trade me in a heartbeat if my phone worked on T-Mobile or they were with Sprint.
You seem to be missing the fact that your new phone has literally twice the processor and twice the RAM of your Touch Pro 2. Of course it is going to be faster, lol. And the OS has little to do with that. Put your Touch Pro 2 up against a G1 (running Android 2.1) and see which one is faster.
