I asked this over on XDA, but it seems that this is the place to discuss Android on a CDMA TP2 since Civic is on this forum!
I played with haret back in the Vogue days, and I haven't honestly played with it again until recently... I'm trying to catch up fast, but I'm finding the latest Android build extremely laggy on my Sprint TP2.
I'm wondering- is this simply because the project is so early on in development, or is that to be expected with our hardware?
The vogue port seems much smoother, but I also understand that the Vogue has less than 1/4 of the resolution that we do. Without any hardware acceleration, are we up the creek as far as performance is concerned here?
AFAIK, GPU acceleration for our hardware isn't supported in Android... and our processors aren't fast enough to make smooth WVGA transition effects without it.
Please tell me I'm wrong, because I'd love to be mistaken about this. Android has so much potential, and I love the idea of dual booting at some point when it is stable enough...
