He was misinformed. There is definitely not GPS. There IS, however, geolocation based on cell tower data, etc.

Which, I guess, is still pretty cool.

force_cdma really shouldn't do anything on our devices.

In other news, a possibly stable fix for the missing RAM was just pushed into the main tree by MrPippy. Hopefully it'll be working on our devices soon -- it's supposed to help enormously with speed. More to come.
