In order for the weather animation to run smoothly, I HIGHLY recommend NOT setting an image as the background for the home tab in Sense. I am noticing a huge degradation in performance when a background image is present.
If you have already set one, simply delete the path that is stored in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeBackgrou ndPath
